I could change this quote to say that he was my great adventure; my love for him had taken me places I had never dreamed of going
- because I was so broken when I met my husband eight years ago and he became one of my biggest supporters and he encouraged me to dream and to put one foot in front of the other. He used to take me places to see the sights that he had seen, and to see new sights with me. I have so many wonderful memories of the trips that we have taken together and with our children. Because of him, I felt that I could overcome anything in the world.
I still fight to overcome my insecurities, brought on by myself, and some brought on by others. I have doubts in my abilities, but looking back I can see that I had strengths that I didn't even know I had. I have a lot to overcome, but I will continue to find strength, through prayer, and through the love and support of friends and family
